What do you want to know?
Wednesday, December 04, 2013

Probably the biggest problem for a writer is to come up with new material. I have spoken over the years to several columnists and they've all said the same. "I wonder if what I am writing is helpful or entertaining to my readers?" I write a monthly column and of course write this blog and have the same question. Rarely do people comment on what I write nor do they ask questions about it. I'm not sure it is because they fear asking a question or it is that I am writing about what interests me. I get feedback from people like, "I read your column every month." or the editor says, "We get a lot of feedback from your column." but little concrete is said that helps me.

If you read the column in the South Shore Senior News or this blog, please write me and let me know what you wonder about. Then I'll write about it after some research if I haven't the information in my head. Thanks in advance. Write me at Stilmee@Comcast.net.
